Faith Formation (PSR)

*All children (usually 2nd graders) preparing to receive First Communion, as well as all children preparing to receive Confirmation, are required to attend Faith Formation classes in preparation for their Sacrament.

If your child is 7th grade or older and plans to receive Confirmation this school year, please sign them up for Confirmation Prep by filling out a PSR Registration form.

Faith Formation seeks to build and nurture a strong foundation in the Catholic faith by helping children and youth understand not only how we practice our faith, but why. Through hands-on activities, they explore Scripture, basic Catholic theology, and the lives of the Saints, fostering a deeper and more complete understanding of Catholicism.

General Information

From August-May, students from Kindergarten through 8th Grade attend weekly Sunday morning classes to deepen their faith in Christ and their understanding of the Catholic Church.

Our 7th-8th grade class will be doing Confirmation Prep this year. High school students who have not yet received the sacrament of Confirmation are also invited to register for Confirmation Prep.

Faith Formation classes are held on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Attendance is required for all students preparing to receive a sacrament in the spring and is strongly encouraged for all students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
