Service

Healing and Comfort Ministry  ─ Trained Eucharistic Ministers provide care and service to sick and homebound Catholics in our community. This includes taking Holy Communion to and visiting with parishioners or Catholics in and around our parish community who are experiencing acute or chronic illnesses or disabilities and are hospitalized, home-bound, or in assisted living and nursing homes. Weekly commitment.

Parish Meal Train  ─ This ministry organizes volunteers to bring home-delivered meals to parishioners during times of need.

St. Vincent de Paul Society helps the needy in the Springfield area in a variety of ways, including distributing funds donated by parishioners to families and individuals in the form of utility assistance. We support LifeHouse Crisis Maternity Home by providing a meal several times a year. Our group participates in quarterly special projects, such as preparing and distributing toiletry kits to veterans and homeless individuals, and providing foot care kits to homeless individuals at the Hope Connection event. Meetings are monthly.

We welcome and encourage all women of the parish to become active participants in the Parish CCW. We meet on the third Monday of the month. Special programs on a variety of subjects are offered several times a year. Events are announced in the bulletin.

Women for Cures ─ Holy Trinity's Women for Cures group (formerly known as Relay for Life Team) works throughout the year to raise money to support cancer survivors and life-saving research. While our focus is on helping cancer patients and survivors, we also support organizations such as Children's Miracle Network and Ronald McDonald House. We also encourage fellowship among our parishioners. Anyone interested is encouraged to join the group. Meetings are scheduled as needed.
